Microsoft Edge - Shortcut Setup
Depending on your security levels for setting up desktop shortcuts, you may have to conatct your IT administrator.
To create a desktop shortcut to open a website directly in the Edge browser:
- When Edge is your default browser, right-click on the desktop > New > Shortcut.
- In "Type the location of the item:" type (or copy) the URL address of the web page, e.g 192.168.xxx.xxx:8080 (replace the x's with the address sent by Accudapt)
- Click on Next and rename the shortcut to "Accudapt Door Access" (without the ") to complete the process.
- Click the new shortcut and the web page will open.
