Microsoft Edge - Shortcut Setup

Depending on your security levels for setting up desktop shortcuts, you may have to conatct your IT administrator.

To create a desktop shortcut to open a website directly in the Edge browser:
  1. When Edge is your default browser, right-click on the desktop > New > Shortcut.
  2. In "Type the location of the item:" type (or copy) the URL address of the web page, e.g 192.168.xxx.xxx:8080 (replace the x's with the address sent by Accudapt)
  3. Click on Next and rename the shortcut to "Accudapt Door Access" (without the ") to complete the process.
  4. Click the new shortcut and the web page will open.
